Warranty & Service

We stand behind the work we install. Here's how to resolve an issue quickly—starting with a few simple checks, then your builder's warranty department.

Before you reach out

A few minutes can save a service call

If you're experiencing an issue with a service or component installed by Courtesy Electric Company, run through these quick checks first. Many issues can be resolved without scheduling a visit.

Confirm the wall switch and any connected dimmer are switched on.

Reset the circuit breaker for that area—flip it fully OFF, then back ON.

Press the reset button on nearby GFCI outlets (common in kitchens, baths, garages, and outdoors).

Swap in a fresh bulb before reporting a light fixture as failed.

Still not working? Because we install as the electrical contractor for your home builder, warranty requests are initiated through your builder's warranty department. Use the contacts below to start the process.

How it works

A clear path from issue to fix

1. Try the quick checks

Run through the simple steps above—breakers, GFCI resets, and bulbs resolve a large share of reported issues.

2. Contact your builder

Open a warranty request with your home builder's department so the issue is logged and routed to the right trade.

3. We make the repair

Our team coordinates with the builder, schedules a visit, and stands behind the workmanship we installed.

Our commitment

Integrity, long after the work is done

Quality, Integrity and Dependability aren't just words on our trucks. We've backed our installations across the Colorado Front Range since 1976, and we treat every warranty request with the same standard we bring to a new build.
